JAMS to Expand to Canada with Opening of New Resolution Center in Toronto

Toronto, Canada – JAMS, the largest provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, today announced it will expand its ADR services to Canada by opening a new Resolution Center in Toronto during the first quarter of 2012.

“We saw an exciting opportunity to enter the Canadian legal market,” said Chris Poole, JAMS president and CEO. “With the addition of talented and capable retired judges and lawyers in Toronto, we know we can make an impact in providing high quality ADR services to that area.”

JAMS is currently building its panel for the Toronto location and recruiting members of the Business/Commercial, Intellectual Property, Insurance and Construction communities.

The Toronto Resolution Center is part of the international expansion by JAMS. Recently JAMS in the United States and ADR Center in Italy launched JAMS International, which is headquartered in London, to provide mediation and arbitration of cross-border disputes worldwide.
